LIVING FOR THE LOVE OF IT!

If I had to put a title at the top of my autobiogrpahy... today's blog entry's title would be it.  With a subtitle of "How one little lamb was brought back from the brink"!

What would be the title of your life's story? Do you ever think of your life in those terms? The Bible tells us that we are written on the palm of God's hand... our lives are a collaboration with Him. He is the Co-Author.  We are given free will to take the plot in any direction we please. Sometimes we chose a tragic course, sometimes triumphant but God always has in mind a happy ending for each one of us.

Are we heading in that direction?  Are we seeking that same happy ending?  We won't be able to tell that by the way that we feel.  Instead, we have to know ourselves and our convictions.  We have to know where our heart is and what it truly longs for.  Do you know your Co-Author? Do you have a relationship with HIm? It's never too late to get started on that.

It's never too late for a final revision of what has been written so far.

Sometimes, as in my case, a complete rewrite is necessary... don't fear it or the process that can be painful and humbling But it is  oh so worth it because the final chapter is really just the beginning of a sequel to the greatest love story ever told.

Romans 8:28 "And we know that to them that Love God all things work together unto good: to such as, according to His purpose, are called to be saints." God knows us and He sees the desire and faith to want to be with Him and know Him. He guides us to the truth because we desire it. I was confused for years of my life. I also made huge blunders. God never left me. When the pain of my mistakes got so bad the only thing to do was either despair or turn to God. Today I have the tools to use and my Catholic faith sustains me. I was one of those lost sheep...thanks for reminding me. God is good!
